Traineeship details

You will work with team members to meet goals by an assigned delivery timeline. You will keep up to date on all aspects of a project, check duties are assigned, and assist others so even complicated tasks come to completion in an orderly and timely manner. You will work with both internal and external experts to solve unexpected problems. You will be comfortable communicating regularly with managers.

You will learn digital and organisation skills, as well as effective communication with people to get tasks completed.

Ensure the agreed project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Assist the Project Manager and Team Managers in the production and maintenance of project plans.

Support with maintaining the project library, filing, recording and reporting systems.

Support implement appropriate configuration management procedures

Support with coordinating the production of all reports and produce project summary reports.

Set up and maintain systems for recording project costs.

Support with documenting procedures in accordance with agreed methodology

Advise and assist project team members in the application of project procedures , disciplines and recording and reporting standards.

Maintain risk and issue logs and change control records.

Support effective communication mechanisms between the project teams.

Undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by the Project Manager.

This Traineeship work experience is part of an education and training programme that is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for. At its core is the Work Preparation training, English and maths for those who need it, and a high quality work experience placement.

Training to be provided

This Traineeship opportunity includes work preparation training, Functional Skills maths and English support for those who require it and a high quality work experience placement.

The first 3 weeks of your traineeship, you will be attending training with TheLightBulb (via zoom sessions). Your training with will include:

  • Confidence building
  • Interview preparation
  • CV building
  • Team working
  • Communication
  • English and maths - working towards Functional Skills at appropriate level

The next 4 weeks of your traineeship, you will receive on the job training and work experience with the employer.
