Summary

Bloomz Car Audio are looking to recruit an Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of vehicle technology specialising in camera systems for lorries, vans and cars, through to premium competition car audio installations.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of camera systems on commercial lorries and HGVs.
  • Support the team in fitting high-end car audio systems, including amplifiers, subwoofers and custom sound setups.
  • Learn how to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues in both camera and audio systems.
  • Help with wiring, component mounting and testing of equipment to ensure quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist in educating clients about their new systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in automotive technology and audio systems.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards it) preferred due to location.
  • Previous experience with vehicle technology or electronics is a plus but not essential.
  • A keen interest in automotive technology, audio systems, music and electronics.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring (training will be provided).

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade Grade 4 or above (A* - C))
  • Maths (grade Grade 4 or above (A* - C))
