Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Machining parts
- Inspecting own work
- Writing code for the machines using CAD/CAM
- Drilling
- Metrology
- Machine set up and operation

The apprentice will achieve a Level 3 Machining Technician apprenticeship.
They will spend four days a week in the workplace, and one day a week at Camborne College.

Work site is near bus routes and there is an on-site car park. Please bear in mind, the college start date for engineering is mid-September so the candidate will need to be available to start work and college as soon as possible.
