This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly team as an apprentice hairdresser. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual for our busy salon in Heald Green. We are a large, friendly, modern salon which has been established for over 50 years, the salon offers a full and diverse range of services.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Working week
Working Hours are 38 per week. Working days will depend on college/days off but typical working hours are: Tuesday, 9.00am - 5.00pm. Wednesday, 9.00am - 2.30pm. Thursday, 9.00am - 8.00pm. Fridays, 9.00am - 6.00pm. Saturday, 8.00am - 3.00pm.

What you will do in your working day
Duties will include:
- Greeting clients
- Developing client relationships
- Shampooing clients hair
- Reception duties
- Dealing with incoming telephone calls
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy
- Taking care of clients
- Shadowing stylists
The training you will be getting
- You will complete a Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeship qualification.
- As well as shadowing within the salon you will also attend college one day per week for training. This will be delivered at Stockport College.
