What you will do in your working day
Repoprting to a Team Leader under the control of The Production Manager, the position will require the candidate to be actively involved within the day-to-day running of the factory, assisting and shadowing of tradespersons as required and undertaking small projects to facilitate the passing of the Welding Standard
This will involve:
- Reading technical drawings
- Marking out
- Fabrication
- Cutting
- Working to agreed requirements
The training you will be getting
- You will attend Andover college on a day release basis starting in July 2024
- The qualification you will get at the end of the apprenticeship is a L2 General Welder Standard
