    £17,000.00

    Salary review yearly - potential to earn an additional £1,500 upon successful completion of each year based on performance. Additional annual bonus also awarded, up to 7.5% of base salary.

    Monday to Friday - 7.5 hours a day (flexible on hours - early start and early finish, typically 8am to 4pm with breaks)

What you will do in your working day

Responsibilities, aligned with the Level 3 standard, include but aren’t limited to:

  • Making a technical contribution to either the quality assurance, manufacture, installation, commissioning or maintenance of products
  • Applying safe systems of working
  • Applying proven techniques and procedures to solve engineering/manufacturing problems

The training you will be getting

  • Leybold and our training provider, East Surrey College will collaborate to ensure that you are provided with continuous training and development.
  • The first year you will spend 3 days a week at East Surrey college to learn engineering principles, and this will reduce to 1 day in year 2.
  • Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship you will obtain a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Engineering.

 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Upon successful completion of this scheme, you could be offered a Service Engineer role with our inhouse team in Chessington, with the potential to move out into the field or within the wider Atlas Copco Group.  
  • You could also be offered further training to expand your learning. Many of our Service Engineers began their careers as apprenticeships.
