What you will do in your working day

  • Working with AutoCAD (& in future BIM/Revit software) to produce concept designs, approval general arrangement drawings and fully developed working drawings.
  • Provides material lists for quotations and shipments to the site.
  • Develop solutions for a wide range of construction applications
  • Produce calculations to verify the developed schemes, providing formal calculation reports when required.
  • Utilizing inhouse developed software and assistance tools to maximize productivity
  • Support with administration of projects
  • Ensuring outputs meet the required standards.
  • Meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Working as a member of a team.
  • Working in an office environment, with opportunities to visit sites.

The training you will be getting

  • Level 4 Civil Engineering qualification
  • Midkent College, Maidstone
  • 1 day a week release to college, 4 days a week based in the office in Sittingbourne
