Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
As our Business Administrator, you will provide administrative support across the business, in support of our vision ‘To harness the power of procurement to create a better future’.
This role offers the opportunity to work across all departments, from supporting the leadership team to providing operational, marketing and business admin support. You will be the first point of contact for incoming calls and emails, handling basic queries and signposting as required.
You will work closely with the operations delivery team to ensure that we provide excellent customer service to our members and suppliers. You will be responsible for generating and issuing routine correspondence, collating and storing data and tracking activity. You will provide admin assistance, data reporting and ad-hoc support to the Finance, Business Development and Marketing teams.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your organisational, communication and collaboration skills whilst gaining knowledge of all aspects of how a small business operates.
To thrive as our Business Administration apprentice, you will be a self-starter who is keen to develop and learn new concepts, accept guidance when needed and suggest new ideas, when appropriate.
We don’t expect you to know it all now but do expect you to come with a can-do attitude, problem-solving ability and conscientious approach to everything that you do.
You are not required to have any procurement experience or knowledge of the built environment. We will teach you that. What is important to us is your attitude to learning and your desire to deliver high-quality work.
