Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Apprentices are supported through their apprenticeship and industry qualifications alongside practical, on-the-job training with experienced engineers. As their knowledge, competence and experience develop, there are opportunities to progress into roles such as Lift Engineer, Advanced Engineer, Senior Engineer and, in time, specialist roles such as Technician, Tester, Regional Field Trainer or operational and management positions. For us, an apprenticeship is not simply about completing a qualification. We want to give people the skills, experience and support they need to build a long-term career within the lift industry and the wider andwis Group. Safety, quality and doing the job properly are at the heart of what we do. Apprentices become part of an experienced engineering team where they can learn from others, develop their technical knowledge and gradually take on greater responsibility as their competence grows. Q1 Have you carried out any customer communications in the past i.e. email exchanges or telephone conversations Q2. We currently have ten colleagues in the branch, have you been part of a team?
