Summary

BMT is seeking a creative Content Creator Apprentice to help grow its online presence. You'll create engaging social media, video, photography and website content showcasing BMT's projects, services and success stories. Gain hands-on experience while completing a Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship and building digital marketing skills.

Wage

£15,600 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

What you'll do at work

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

  • Create engaging written, visual and video content for BMT's digital channels
  • Produce content showcasing BMT's AV and telecommunications solutions
  • Photograph and film completed installations, meeting rooms, technology and projects
  • Create short-form video content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant channels
  • Edit videos and images to create professional marketing content
  • Develop graphics and visual assets for social media and marketing campaigns
  • Repurpose existing content into different formats and channels

Social Media:

  • Support the management and development of BMT's social media presence
  • Create and schedule regular social media posts
  • Develop content around BMT's latest projects, installations, products and services
  • Research relevant industry trends and identify opportunities for content
  • Monitor engagement and performance across social channels
  • Help grow BMT's audience and increase engagement with potential customers
  • Engage with relevant industry conversations and communities

Website & Digital Content:

  • Create and update website content including service pages, blogs and project updates
  • Support the development of customer case studies
  • Turn completed projects into engaging digital stories
  • Help ensure website content is accurate, relevant and engaging
  • Support SEO-focused content creation
  • Research topics that are relevant to BMT's target customers and industries

BMT already showcases projects through its online portfolio and detailed case studies, providing a strong foundation for the apprentice to develop further content around real customer projects.

Video & Photography:

  • Capture video and photography during BMT installations and customer projects
  • Create behind-the-scenes content showing how projects are delivered
  • Produce customer and team interviews
  • Create product demonstration videos
  • Produce educational and informative videos explaining technology in simple terms
  • Edit footage into engaging short-form and long-form content
  • Maintain an organised library of digital assets

Campaigns & Marketing:

  • Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Develop content calendars around key campaigns, services and industry events
  • Create promotional content for BMT's key solutions
  • Support email marketing and digital communications
  • Help develop content that generates awareness, engagement and enquiries
  • Work with the wider team to understand target audiences and create relevant content for them

Industry & Competitor Research:

  • Research developments in the AV, telecommunications and workplace technology industries
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
  • Identify new content opportunities
  • Research emerging technologies and topics that could be relevant to BMT customers
  • Help BMT communicate complex technology in a simple and engaging way

  • Source, obtain and prepare media assets for use; using industry standard packages to adapt and edit content.
  • Use industry standard tools and content management systems to organise, structure and label content effectively, methodically and securely enabling efficient search and retrieval.
  • Identify and recommend the platform/s or channel/s to use for the media campaign.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers, establishing and using professional contacts.
  • Engage and respond with audiences through social media, adapting content to respond to evolving circumstances.
  • Monitor user experience to ensure content is focused on maximising engagement.
  • Analyse the differences between audiences using audience segmentation techniques and data.
  • Use lessons learned to evaluate the success of the content and identify areas for improvement for future campaigns.
  • Use continuing professional development planning to support own current and future training and development needs.
  • Operate effectively within the production workflow to meet production timelines.

Training schedule

Content Creator Level 3.

Velocity apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team.

Using their expert knowledge, they will provide the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace and to expand future career prospects.

Throughout the apprenticeship, learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their programme.

GCSE in:
