Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Apprentices to join our team. This role is primarily customer service focused, providing an excellent foundation in customer engagement, communication, and business operations, while also offering valuable exposure to sales activities.

Wage

£15,600 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

As part of your apprenticeship, you will gain hands-on experience working with customers and colleagues across the business, developing the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in sales.

Job Duties:

  • Provide excellent customer service through a variety of communication channels
  • Support customers with product, service and account enquiries
  • Build positive relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Assist with sales administration and customer follow-up activities
  • Learn about our products, services and customer base
  • Help identify customer needs and opportunities to promote relevant solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and update business systems
  • Work across different teams to gain a broad understanding of the business
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Interest in developing a career in sales, customer service or business

Training schedule

  • In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 3 Customer Service qualification which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures
  • Our training is all completed remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support, and will arrange weekly/fortnightly meetings with you
  • Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the occupational standard which is included in your weekly working hours

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

English and maths (grade 4)
