As a Customer Experience Apprentice, you will learn how to manage the end-to-end customer journey, proactively identify and resolve issues, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that benefit both Maersk and our customers.
You will combine practical, on-the-job experience with structured learning through your apprenticeship programme, developing valuable skills that will support your future career.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow established processes and procedures to manage customer expectations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support the Customer Experience team in delivering high levels of productivity, accuracy, and service in line with agreed service standards.
- Participate in cross-functional teamwork and projects.
- Learn how to manage end-to-end shipment processes in compliance with company procedures.
- Ensure services are delivered as promised and communicate proactively with customers regarding any changes or exceptions.
- Take ownership of customer queries and support their effective resolution by working with relevant stakeholders.
- Support eCommerce initiatives and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
- Develop knowledge of logistics, customer service, and supply chain operations through both practical experience and apprenticeship learning.
Requirements
- A minimum of Level 4 (Grade C or equivalent) or above in both English and Maths.
- A genuine interest in developing a career in customer service, logistics, or supply chain.
- Strong communication skills and confidence when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Well organised and able to work effectively under pressure.
- A strong team player who collaborates well with others.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Comfortable using technology and willing to learn new systems and processes.
