Summary

Active Pharma Supplies in Leyland are recruiting for an Apprentice Supply Chain Warehouse Operative. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship over the duration of 15 months.

£15,600 to £24,784.50, depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Support the safe handling, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards
  • Receive and inspect goods, stock control, order picking, packaging, and maintaining accurate documentation
  • You will be responsible for clean room preparation, follow strict hygiene and contamination control procedures
  • Ensure all tasks meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • You will develop practical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of pharmaceutical operations while completing your apprenticeship training

  • Use tools and equipment to aid in product handling.
  • Use information technology and digital systems. Comply with GDPR and cyber security.
  • Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
  • Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
  • support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
  • Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
  • Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.

  • Carry out and record learning and development activities.
