Summary
Start your insurance career with Momentum. You will learn to understand customers’ needs, obtain quotes and arrange suitable home insurance policies. You will also complete the Level 3 Insurance Practitioner apprenticeship, with full training and ongoing support. You will also have opportunities to progress within a growing business.

£20,000 annual basic salary. After completing probation, the apprentice may earn £25 for each qualifying policy completed above 18 policies in a calendar month. Bonuses are subject to compliance, quality checks and the policy remaining active beyond the cancellation period. Salary reviewed after 12 months.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Speak with customers by phone and email to understand their home insurance needs
- Gather accurate information about customers and their properties
- Obtain and compare home insurance quotes from a range of insurers
- Explain policy options, cover levels, exclusions and costs clearly
- Help customers choose suitable buildings and contents insurance
- Process new policies, renewals and policy changes
- Keep customer records accurate and up to date
- Follow insurance regulations, data protection rules and company procedures
- Work towards agreed customer service and performance targets
- Complete training and coursework for the Level 3 Insurance Practitioner apprenticeship

Training schedule
Training will be delivered through the workplace and remotely by GC Education & Skills. The apprentice will receive regular one-to-one support from their trainer and dedicated time during working hours to complete training, coursework and apprenticeship activities.
More training information
The apprenticeship will be delivered by GC Education & Skills over approximately 14 months. It is a work-based programme, structured around regular one-to-one reviews and support from an apprenticeship tutor. The apprentice will receive dedicated time during working hours to complete off-the-job training and apprenticeship activities.

Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- Any subject (grade Three additional GCSEs at 4/C)
- English (grade 4/C or above)
- Maths (grade 4/C or above)
