Summary
Reporting to the Head of Business Systems, you'll play a key role in supporting and developing the systems that keep our business running. You'll gain hands-on experience with ERP systems, Power BI, SQL, automation tools, AI technologies and in-house applications while working alongside experienced colleagues and external technology partners.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Provide first-line support for business systems, investigating issues and escalating where appropriate.
- Assist with the administration, maintenance and testing of our ERP system.
- Use SQL to support data analysis, troubleshoot issues and improve data quality.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation using tools such as Power Automate, Python and AI.
- Monitor and support system integrations, assisting with testing and implementation.
- Support business systems projects, including upgrades, testing, documentation and user acceptance testing.
- Gather user requirements and contribute to the development of in-house applications.
- Maintain system documentation and help deliver user training and guidance.

- apply statistical methodologies to data analysis tasks

Other requirements
Entry requirements:
Standard entry:
- Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
- OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)
Plus:
- 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
- Experience with using Excel (in particular pivot tables and XLookup) and Microsoft products (or similar)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
