We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Vehicle Converter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in motor vehicles, and a desire to learn.

What you'll do at work
We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Vehicle Converter to join our team at the Bromborough site. The ideal candidate will have an interest in motor vehicles, and a desire to learn. They must possess some basic mixed skills and a keen eye for detail. The role involves learning all aspects of the vehicle conversion process, working both individually, and as part of a team.
You will learn the initial stripping of a vehicle interior, assembly, and installation of bespoke items including installing lifts/ramps/roofs/seats etc.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate some skills and relevant experience combined with an ability to work efficiently, to a high standard, and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
Main duties & Responsibilities:
- Working with wood, metal, and composites
- Carpet and vinyl fitting
- Trimming
- Fitment of passenger lifts, ramps, roofs, seats and other components
- Basic electrical work
- Using various hand and power tools

Training schedule
Training will be delivered by Train'd Up through a combination of workplace learning and off-the-job training. The apprentice will receive regular support from a dedicated assessor, complete online learning, attend progress reviews and build practical skills while working alongside experienced engineers at the work site. Off-the-job training will make up at least 20% of the apprentice's working hours in line with apprenticeship requirements.

Training will be provided by Train'd Up, with regular one-to-one reviews from a dedicated Skills Coach. Learning will be delivered through a blend of workplace support, online learning and scheduled progress reviews, ensuring the apprentice receives ongoing guidance throughout the programme.
