Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Your day will start at 9am, and you will be given a job card for the first job of the day. If it is something you cannot complete yourself, you will shadow one of our mechanics or, if you feel you could complete the job with supervision, then you will undertake it, but one of the mechanics will periodically check your work and then, when you feel you have completed the job, it will be checked.
This process will be mirrored every day. This being said, if we have an unusual job or something you are keen to learn, a mechanic will let you work alongside.
