Summary

Idash Software are seeking an apprentice full-stack Web Application Developer to join our development team. Our core technologies include C#, ASP.NET and JavaScript.

We are seeking a motivated candidate who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work and has strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Develop and maintain web application components for client projects and internal systems, following specifications provided by stakeholders and team members
  • Translate requirements into code under supervision
  • Write clean, documented code and participate in peer code reviews
  • Follow established software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes in accordance with the company's ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, including secure coding practices and information security policies
  • Support testing, deployment, and post-release activities
  • Provide first-line technical support to clients, escalating complex issues to senior team members where needed

  • apply an appropriate software development approach according to the relevant paradigm (for example object oriented, event driven or procedural)
  • follow software designs and functional or technical specifications
  • follow testing frameworks and methodologies
  • follow company, team or client approaches to continuous integration, version and source control
  • communicate software solutions and ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • apply algorithms, logic and data structures
  • interpret and implement a given design whist remaining compliant with security and maintainability requirements
