We are seeking to appoint an apprentice to join our team within the construction department. We are looking for someone who construction so they can enthusiastically support all our learners in the department.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement, under guidance of the teacher
- Deliver tailored support to pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis
- Support pupils to stay engaged and on task during lessons
- Assist with behaviour management and promote positive learning
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom resources
- General maintenance of the workshop and machinery

- Adapt teaching strategies to support all learners (for example, scaffolding, open questioning).
- Identify and respond to pastoral and academic behaviours in learners.

Training schedule
- Teaching Assistant Level 3
- Training will take place at University Academy Holbeach, and you will receive 6-hours to complete off the job training every week
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 4)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
