Summary
We are now looking for a Supply Chain Warehouse Apprentice to join our busy stores and logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in warehousing, stock control, and supply chain operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and book in deliveries accurately against purchase orders
- Safely unload, store, and correctly locate materials within the warehouse
- Pick and issue materials to production with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain accurate stock records and update systems (including Oracle)
- Support stock control processes, including cycle counts and stock takes
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
- Liaise with production, procurement, and supervisors regarding material needs
- Assist with goods-in, expediting, and delivery scheduling activities
- Ensure all materials are correctly labelled and stored in the right locations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company systems
- Support general warehouse and administrative duties as required

- Load and unload products, considering the product that is to be moved and its current and planned destination.
- Use tools and equipment to aid in product handling.
- Use information technology and digital systems. Comply with GDPR and cyber security.
- Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
- support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
- Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
- Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
