Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
The individual will be required to build and maintain our piling equipment using the welding skills that they acquire. On site Welding supervisor will aid with instructions and guidance regarding the repairs and help the individual when required.
As you progress, you may be asked to help on more tasking jobs and help fabricated some of our equipment.
Once fully qualified, further qualifications are a potential as you progress with Central Piling.
Day to day responsibilities will include:

- Equipment repair
- House keeping

- Slinging equipment

- This is a 12-18-month duration apprenticeship with college attendance required once per week at Colchester Institute's Braintree Campus, transport from Colchester campus provided
