Join our dynamic property group as a Multichannel Marketer Apprentice, supporting our estate agency, lettings and mortgage teams. You’ll create engaging content, manage social media, assist with campaigns and help grow our brand across multiple marketing channels.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and scheduling content across social media platforms, websites and email campaigns.
  • Assisting with property marketing, including photography, videos and promotional materials.
  • Supporting estate agency, lettings and mortgage teams with marketing campaigns and lead generation.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and reporting on engagement and marketing results.
  • Maintaining brand consistency across all online and offline marketing channels.

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
  • Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
  • Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
  • Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
  • Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
  • Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
  • Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
  • Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
  • Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
  • Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
  • Use a content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
  • Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
  • Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
  • Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
  • Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
  • Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

Training schedule

  • The apprentice will be working towards the Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
  • All delivered within the workplace via online training and at Colchester Institute Campus every other week.

Requirements

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

maths and English (grade A*-E/9-2 or equivalent)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements

  • The role is based at our Colchester branch but will involve travelling 1 or 2 days or for an afternoon to our other two branch locations: in Wickford and Basildon.
  • So applicants must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
  • Mileage can be paid for when travelling within their normal commute times.
  • This role will be working with 3 property companies, sales, lettings and a mortgage brokers.
  • We are looking for someone to have fun with this role.

About this employer

The 3 companies have a combined staff number of 20. We see ourselves and be successful because we all get on and have solid working relationships with each other and our clients. We have a sales and lettings estate agency and a mortgage brokers. The brokers has a different brand ( Mustard Mortgages). Our 3 branches are in: Colchester, Wickford and Basildon. We really have no social media presence and would like someone to have fun increasing our SM presence.
