Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Assist with planned and reactive maintenance on battery energy storage systems (BESS) and Gas Engines
  • Learn to diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electrical and mechanical components
  • Support engineers with inspections, testing, and safety procedures
  • Develop knowledge of energy storage operations, working alongside experienced professionals

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

Maths and English (grade 4 or equivalent)
