Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

As a surveying apprentice you will be responsible for providing the HIA’s technical service, providing advice guidance and practical support liaising with clients and contractors in order to deliver adaptations and home improvements ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for carrying out initial feasibility studies to determine what adaptations would be possible- this would include liaising directly with occupational therapists to establish what adaptations would meet the clients assessed needs.
