Summary
We are looking to develop an additional person who will be able to carry out all the functions required to ensure products are checked, finished, packed and labelled to be fitted, shipped, and the goods that go in and out are handled and maintained to ensure an efficient flow of product in the business.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
As an apprentice at Hardy Signs, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out work safely and complying with health and safety legislation
- Complying with environmental procedures and systems
- Completing manufacturing operations / assembly of signage
- Checking and ensuring that goods produced meet the requirements of the works order
- Packing and labelling goods for despatch or fitting
- Handling of goods both in and out of the warehouse
- Ensuring that the working area is kept clean and items are kept in the correct places

- Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship standard
- Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.

GCSE or equivalent in:

Other requirements
Driving licence would be beneficial for the successful candidate. Training will be provided to drive a forklift. The candidate should be able to handle variable sized items.
