Summary
This is a unique opportunity to work on a yard with masses of variety, alongside all the normal yard duties there are opportunities to help run the in house shows, work in hand with the therapy ponies, work in the tack shop, help with the promotion of the centre on social media and look after a whole host of other animals.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
All normal yard duties :
- Mucking out/ keeping yard tidy
- Feeding
- Filling haynets / water buckets
- Looking after the other animals there
- Helping Liveries with their horses
- Helping run the in house shows
- Exercising the therapy ponies on the ground

- You will be working towards the Level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship
- The training will be completed at the employers premises, with the employer and supported by Haddon Training
- Haddon Training will also support you in gaining your Functional Skills qualifications in maths and/ or English if required
