Summary

A position as an apprentice caravan/motorhome technician based in Camberley Surrey. Learning and working on a range of leisure vehicles from servicing, repairing and installation of a range of equipment. You will work alongside a qualified engineer; no two days are the same.

Wage

£14,722.50 to £23,809.50, depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Servicing of caravans & motorhomes
  • Repairs, to boilers and heaters
  • Installation, solar panels, Wi-Fi
  • Fault finding, electrical and gas equipment
  • Design, new installations
  • Mechanical, servicing
  • Electrical, test and inspect
  • Customer service
  • Basic report writing, on service forms
  • Installation of self-levelling systems, towbars, air suspension

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • Engineering (grade A* - C / 9 - 4)

  • physics (grade A* - C / 9 - 4)
  • Science (grade A* - C / 9 - 4)

Other requirements

You'll be working in our workshop most of the time but sometimes outside on larger vehicles. This is a hand on job using various hand tools and equipment.
