Summary
The employer Cloud Stables is looking for a keen apprentice to grow and develop within their team.
The location is a training and livery yard and currently consists of 23 horses.
Based in Arborfield in Reading.
This apprenticeship will allow the candidate to learn horse husbandry across a variety of breeds.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
The team is small and friendly with 3 staff working a day at anytime.The location is currently opening a shop selling equestrian goods.
There is a possibility that the right candidate can also support and work in a customer service role within this capacity.
Your main role will be the care and welfare of the horses duties include:-
- Grooming
- Turning out/in
- Rugging up
- Mucking out
- Feeding
There is also the opportunity for the right candidate to come along to off-site training & shows.

Your day-to-day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.

Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 4)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
