Summary

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and creating a positive learning environment for pupils. You’ll assist with classroom activities, help manage behaviour, and provide one-on-one or small group support to students.

£14,918.80 to £24,126.96, depending on your age

  • Apply methods of formative assessment.
  • Use up to date technology safely, to support learning.
  • Encourage safe use of technology by learners.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support all learners (for example, scaffolding, open questioning).
  • Identify and respond to pastoral and academic behaviours in learners.
  • Provide feedback to learners.

Training schedule

Cookley Sebright Primary School.

Full Time, 37.5 Hours per week, Hours - 8.30AM - 5PM.

Pay rate £7.55 - £12.21.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English Language and Literature (grade C)
  • Mathematics (grade C)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
