Summary

We're seeking a creative, highly organised Content & Design executive to own and evolve our marketing function. You'll drive B2B & B2C marketing strategy across our UK operations and international partner network, creating visual content, managing digital campaigns, and building brand awareness.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Your duties will include: 

Content & Design:

  • Creating visual assets for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
  • Designing and executing CRM email campaigns using HubSpot, maintaining brand consistency
  • Managing website content, blog posts, and SEO-optimised materials
  • Developing PR and thought leadership content to build brand authority

Digital Marketing & social media:

  • Developing and managing content calendars (weekly, monthly, annual)
  • Scheduling and publishing posts using scheduling tools; monitor engagement and report insights
  • Managing SEO strategy and PPC campaigns (Google Ads, social advertising)
  • Tracking and reporting on marketing KPIs, Google Analytics, and ROI metrics

Partner & B2B Marketing:

  • Managing B2B partner marketing relationships and support their campaigns
  • Researching and engaging potential technology reseller partners in the EU and USA
  • Developing strategies for approaching, engaging, and onboarding international partners

Strategy & Planning:

  • Developing and managing marketing budgets with trackable ROI metrics
  • Researching market trends, competitor activity, and audience insights
  • Coordinating with external agencies and suppliers to deliver marketing objectives

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Coordinate and maintain key marketing channels (both digital and offline)
  • Plan and deliver tactical campaigns against SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-bound) objectives
  • Manage the production and distribution of marketing materials, e.g. digital, print and video content as appropriate
  • Produce a wide range of creative and effective communications, including ability to write and proofread clear and innovative copy, project briefs, and give confident presentations
  • Able to engage and collaborate with a wide range of clients/stakeholders, across departments internally and with clients/suppliers externally to support marketing outcomes as required
  • Use good project and time management to deliver projects/tasks/events as appropriate, effectively. Including the ability to divide time effectively between reporting, planning and delivery
  • Coordinate several marketing campaigns/projects/events to agreed deadlines
  • Effectively liaise with, and manage, internal and external stakeholders including suppliers to deliver required outcomes
  • Monitor project budgets within their scope of work using appropriate systems and controls
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by choosing the appropriate digital and offline data sources
  • Assimilate and analyse data and information from a range of sources to support marketing activities
  • Evaluate data and research findings to derive insights to support improvements to future campaigns
  • Effectively use appropriate business systems and software to deliver marketing outcomes efficiently, for example to analyse data, produce reports and deliver copy
  • Use appropriate technologies to deliver marketing outcomes e.g. digital/web analytics, social media, CRM

Training schedule

Marketing Executive Apprenticeship Level 4 Standard. Training is delivered in the workplace with a mixture of face to face and remote sessions. As we offer this qualification nationally, we do offer remote sessions for those learners working outside of the county.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4)
  • Maths (grade 4)

Desirable qualifications

Other in:

Marketing (grade 4)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
