Summary
LeisureBench is looking for a motivated Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprentice to join our busy warehouse team. This hands-on role offers practical experience in goods handling, stock control, order picking and dispatch while working for a leading supplier of sustainable indoor and outdoor furniture.

What you'll do at work
LeisureBench is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our warehouse team as a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprentice. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in warehousing and logistics while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
Established in 2001, LeisureBench is a leading trade supplier of high-quality indoor and outdoor furniture made from wood and recycled plastic. We pride ourselves on delivering durable, sustainable products to commercial customers across the UK, supported by excellent customer service and efficient warehouse operations.
As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in a busy warehouse environment, learning all aspects of supply chain and warehouse operations.
Your duties will include
- Receiving goods
- Checking deliveries
- Storing stock correctly
- Picking and packing orders
- Preparing items for dispatch
- Supporting accurate stock control
You will also learn the importance of health and safety, quality checks and working effectively as part of a team.
You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship with on-the-job training and dedicated time to complete your apprenticeship qualification. This role offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, confidence and experience, with the potential for future progression within the business.

- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
- support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
- Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
- Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.

Training schedule
- In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 2 Supply Chain qualification, which will help start your career and give you an insight into the business's processes and procedures
- Our training is all completed both face-to-face and remotely via Teams, with a development coach, who will be available for support
- You receive 20% off-the-job training during this apprenticeship, which is included in your weekly working hours
