Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Pick, pack and pull B2B and B2C orders of all sizes
  • Process and coordinate B2B & B2C orders on the computer using various platforms (such as Shopify, Amazon, SPS and many more)
  • General warehouse organisation, keeping the space clean, safe & organised.
  • Stock and Inventory tracking/forecasting using warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Receiving and inspecting incoming goods
  • Assisting with the boxing up and labelling of goods to put on shelves.

Training schedule

Supply Chain Warehouse Operative (Level 2) apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills in English and maths if required.

The apprentice will train through a mix of on-the-job training and off-the-job learning. Will spend most of the time (around 80%) at work, gaining practical skills by working alongside experienced colleagues. The remaining time (at least 20%) will be dedicated to off-the-job learning, which includes workshops, online courses, and assignments to cover the theoretical knowledge required for the role. This combination ensures they develop both hands-on experience and a solid understanding of the industry.
