Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, control, contribute to and complete manufacturing operations
  • Follow SOPs and adhere to safe working policies and procedures
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards including correct PPE usage
  • Organise work area using 5S principles
  • Support continuous improvement using lean tools and problem-solving techniques
  • Carry out quality checks and escalate concerns appropriately

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Requirements

Essential qualifications

GCSE or equivalent in:

Maths and English (grade 4-9)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
