Summary

A busy and professionally run livery and training yard just outside Exeter. The successful applicant will be honest and hardworking, with high standards of care and welfare. In return, we offer weekly riding and stable management lessons, a single room in shared accommodation and great working conditions.

Wage

£15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Routine yard and field work, including mucking out, watering and feeding
  • Handling horses, including trotting up, turning out and catching in
  • Knowing and using saddlery and performing basic maintenance work
