Main responsibilities:

  • Working within the Content Team to list new tech products on Linnworks internal system, from data entry to the production of rich A+ content and SEO optimised product descriptions.
  • Writing SEO optimised website copy for product listings and other areas on the website such as blog posts.
  • Adhering to current product page formats and brand style/tone of voice.
  • Maintain product listing change requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist in keeping product categories on the website consistent.
  • Peer reviewing product listings across the team to ensure specifications and information is correct and consistent.
  • Supporting the Marketing team with other content requests such as blog posts and website copy.
  • Implementing product costs and sell pricing if required.
  • Full training available inhouse and online courses.

  • An exceptional grasp of the English language.
  • Strong English writing, spelling and grammar skills.
  • Strong quality checking and cross-referencing skills.
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Experience in data inputting is desirable.
  • Interest or experience within the tech industry is desirable.
  • Experience in online product listing like Ebay etc is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and the importance of unique online copy.
  • Understanding of eCommerce and online marketplaces including Amazon and eBay.
  • Able to work on your own initiative, managing your time effectively or as part of a team.
  • Efficient with spreadsheets, manipulating data and reviewing results.
  • Demonstrate own initiative and be accountable for decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Business Administration Level 3 Standard

Full training will be provided on an ongoing daily basis and when required. You will be working towards a NVQ qualification. Course delivery will be mainly in the workplace, no college attendance is required.  An assessor will be allocated to you to progress/help you through you course. Continual assessment for NVQ’s coupled with assignments/or exams depending on course of study. Time spent training will be part of the agreed contracted hours of the working week.
