You will be joining a team of consultants some of whom have worked their way up, starting as apprentices.
You will be supported through your training with the firm; shadowing our consultants on site to start with and then being able to assist us with finance assistant roles; working your way up to consultancy days as you gain experience. Consultancy days you are required to be on site by 9am where you will be met by another EduFin consultant or a member of the school finance team, as previously agreed.
Some days will require home working therefore a high level of self-motivation is required. We also run a Helpdesk and have designed various software packages; so, if you like IT as well as finance then you will have the opportunity to learn additional skills and how to support our Helpdesk users.
We are simply looking for someone with a great work ethic who is confident in face to face situations and wants to learn what we do.
Apprentices are assigned a team leader who will be available for any questions and to support the learning process. Check-ins happen regularly to make sure you are feeling supported and have the time to offload any worries you may have.
