Duties include:

  • Keeping well-organised records of our business activity
  • Updating our databases
  • Interacting with clients either on the phone or in person
  • Answering phones and responding to customer requests
  • Following up on business communications, billing, and ordering
  • Communicating with materials suppliers and vendors
  • Invoicing
  • Collecting and inputting data
  • Learning about the company's mission and available products/services
  • Assisting with customer support
  • Being ready for any other administrative tasks that are required
  • Contacting new and existing customers by phone, email and by on-line platforms 

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • The ideal candidate would have excellent IT navigation skills and accurate record keeping skills
  • Efficient in use of Microsoft office
  • Ability to work as part of a small team
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to manage own work load and able to prioritise
  • Willingness to learn about the business processes, products and services

Personal qualities

  • Trustworthy, honest and reliable
  • The candidate would have a willingness to be trained and developed
  • Have the ability to use their own initiative

Desired qualifications

  • Must have GCSE maths and English A*-C / 9-4 grades or equivalent
  • Desirable: IT qualification
