  • Provide support to the lecturers, technicians and learners in the hospitality and catering department.
  • Preparing and serving food and beverages for the restaurant and the food court, handling cash, ordering stock, creating Purchase Orders, stock rotation, monthly stock take and processing invoices and transfers in line with College Financial Regulations.

Advanced Apprentices may progress onto the Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship if their job role allows. Career progression and employment opportunities will be enhanced upon completion of the Apprenticeship Standard at any level.

Our Level 3 (Advanced) Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship is a nationally recognised course involving the use of advanced team leading techniques and training, offering you the opportunity to gain hands on industry experience.

The Apprenticeship consists of several elements, which have been identified by employers as an appropriate set of skills to operate in their chosen job role.

These elements are:
Maths - Level 1 or Level 2 Functional Skills, unless an equivalent qualification has already been achieved.

English - Level 1 or Level 2 Functional Skills, unless an equivalent qualification has already been achieved.

Vocational Element (Knowledge) - most Apprenticeship include off-the-job study for a technical certificate which is usually done at College.
