Duties:

  • To assist with customer service calls to all sites on a daily basis
  • Book in and arrange transport for all containers
  • Keep the daily transactions sheet up to date
  • To maintain all Customer records and documentation
  • Download from portals and request tickets
  • To assist with daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • To provide support and assist where possible in answering and resolving day to day customer queries, including opening the post, answering the telephone and responding to emails
  • Throughout the apprenticeship, to acquire exceptional customer service skills, seeking advice from the wider team where in doubt and gain confidence in resolving queries to a satisfactory conclusion referring them up the line
  • To comply at all times with the letter and spirit of the Company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy, Equality & Diversity Policy and Code on Business Conduct and Behaviour
  • Carry out such other duties as are reasonably requested by the jobholder’s line manager from time to time

Things to consider

  • All work is done on computers so computer literacy is a must.  We currently don’t require weekend working but there may be a case of being on standby on a Saturday morning
  • Day starts at 8am and finishes at 5pm with an 1 hour lunch break

About the employer

At KM Eco we manage waste for construction sites. We provide many services: providing a skip to remove waste, advising which skip would be best so materials can be separated out for recycling purposes. Provide customers reports based on their % of recycling versus recuse/upcycling. We also participated and support community engagement days. 

All the customers sites are based around the whole of the UK but our offices are in Hertford. We are a small friendly team.  This is a fast paced environment where accuracy to 100% is required.
