Welder/Fabricator/Pipe Fitter Apprentice PORTOBELLO ENGINEERING LIMITED
This is a fantastic apprenticeship opportunity to join a specialist engineering business based in Cromford, Matlock as an apprentice doing fabrication and welding.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Workshop based fabrication combined with on site installation, primarily of pipework and associated support structures, accessways etc.
Part of a small team producing high quality bespoke systems from start to finish.
Duties will include:
- Stainless Tig/Mig welding (pipework and fabrications),
- Mild Steel Mig/Arc welding
- Marking out
- Gas/plasma cutting
- Pipe bending and threading.
Requirements and prospects
- A keen interest in engineering
- Good communicator
- Well presented
- Minimum GCSE grade 4/C in maths and English (or equivalent)
- Level 2 in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Full time position within the company
