The organisations workshops and finishing areas are fitted with state of the art machinery allowing the business the ability to supply products to each customer’s specific requirements and specifications.

The role available is to work within all areas of the business:

  • Supporting skilled craftspeople
  • Raw materials
  • Working with the plant machinery across the manufacturing process
  • Use a wide range of small to medium size tolling and equipment

Work within all areas of the manufacturing process:

  • Cutting, shaping
  • Trimming
  • Drilling, dowelling
  • Construction
  • Packing
  • Finishing
  • Quality inspections
  • Delivery etc.

Andy has lived in Northamptonshire for all of his life, with a background in engineering and kitchen fitting, it was a natural progression for Andy to set up a sucessful manufacturing business. To those who have had kitchens designed and fitted by Andy and his team before, know of the quality finish and excellent service achieved.

A Gent Kitchens delivers bespoke, high quality kitchen carcasses (single kitchens and many) around England, and can on request, create bespoke furniture too.

Improving Operational Performance Intermediate Apprenticeship.

The apprenticeship framework includes qualifications:

  • Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Performing Manufacturing Operations
  • EAL Level 2 Award in Industrial Environment Awareness
  • Functional Skills in English (candidates with GCSE grade C/4 or above/equivalent are exempt)
  • Functional Skills in maths (candidates with GCSE grade C/4 or above/equivalent are exempt)

The apprenticeship is delivered fully within the workplace, i.e. NO college attendance required.
