Summary
Looking for enthusiastic, driven individuals, who want to better themselves and be involved in a team of both trained and aspiring martial artists. Apprentice will be providing class support in the initial instance, with a view to become a full-time instructor working mostly with children aged 4-14. The role includes working alongside a director.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- We are looking for bright, enthusiastic, driven individuals, who want to better themselves and be involved in a professional, diverse and growing team of both trained and aspiring martial artists
- The apprentice will be working alongside a director and/or team leader providing class support in the initial instance, with the view of the apprentice becoming a full-time martial arts instructor with Tiger Martial Arts. The apprentice will be instructing mostly children aged 4-14
- Alongside training and instructing in martial arts, ongoing training will be provided in exciting supplementary roles in the company, depending on the individual’s strengths and interests

- Use suitable digital technology to deliver targeted messages to participant groups.
- Adapt communication methods to meet the needs of participants and groups.
- Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns within own scope of role and in line with organisational protocols.

- Support the mental health and wellbeing of self and participants.
- Comply with health and safety legislation, regulations, risk assessment procedures, guidelines and procedures.

Training schedule
Community Activator Coach Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification:
Apprentices without level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level and take the test for level 2 English and maths prior to the end point assessment

Requirements
Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 4)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
It would be desirable if the successful applicants had their own transport or working towards obtaining within the next 6 months. Concessions will be considered for applicants below the age of 18, provided the applicant plans to obtain when they are of age. DBS checks will occur as part of these apprenticeships. Worksites include primary schools.
