Summary
As a Data Analysis Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in working alongside our Innovation team to turn fleet data into actionable insights. You’ll work with vehicle telematics, maintenance records, fuel usage, and other fleet data to help our clients make smarter decisions. Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, data-rich environment.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating fleet data from systems including telematics platforms, fuel card providers, maintenance logs, and other third-party sources.
- Use visualisation tools to build and maintain dashboards that consolidate operational and financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- Prepare and deliver monthly MI reports, identifying anomalies and performance trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with the Innovation team to interrogate data line-by-line, uncovering patterns and opportunities to improve KPIs.
- Support the processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with fleet data and supplier records.
- Collaborate with our Fleet team and key stakeholders to understand client requirements and tailor data outputs accordingly.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms, maintaining high standards of data governance and confidentiality.
- Participate in structured learning and complete all apprenticeship coursework, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in advanced analytics tools.

- apply statistical methodologies to data analysis tasks
- apply predictive analytics in the collation and use of data
- collaborate and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders using appropriate styles and behaviours to suit the audience

Your training plan
Training is delivered through a combination of workplace learning and regular college attendance. Delivery on average takes place every 2 weeks with 1 day per month on site via a masterclass plus 1 remote session each month.
