We're looking for a motivated individual to join a professional team as a Plumbing Apprentice at Konig Heating. No prior experience is required — just a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in the trade.

Wage

£15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Duties include:

Assist qualified plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
Measure, cut, and assemble pipes and fittings using hand and power tools
Help install domestic and commercial water systems, such as sinks, toilets, showers, radiators, and boilers
Carry out basic fault-finding and help with diagnostics
Prepare and clean work areas, tools, and equipment
Follow health and safety procedures at all times on-site
Load, unload, and transport tools and materials as needed
Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and plumbing plans
Keep accurate records of work completed under supervision
Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme

Physical fitness - able to work in tight spaces, at heights, and lift heavy tools/materials

Hull College will deliver the Apprenticeship Standard Plumbing Level 3
You will be trained in the workplace by a highly skilled mentor alongside your Hull College Skills Coach who will help support and guide you to become a skilled employee
