Summary
We are looking for a young person who is interested in a career in Engineering, specifically machining, milling and turning and if they show interest there would also be opportunity for grinding and fabricating. As part of your your position you will Identify different types and grades of materials used in the machining process.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- The successful candidate will complete a Level 3 Standard Engineering Technician Apprenticeship under the Toolmaker and Tool and Die Maintenance Technician pathway
- Qualifications include;
- Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
- Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) – Toolmaker, Tool and Die Maintenance
- Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
- Delivery method and location to be confirmed
- If you do not already hold GCSE’s or equivalent at grade A-C / 8-4 in English, maths and ICT you will complete functional skills in the related subjects to attain Level 2
