What you will do in your working day

  • The role includes providing full administrative support for the management development programmes, close monitoring and following up completion of the London Learner Survey and providing course administration for courses at the Language schools.
  • You must be able to plan and progress a programme of work to deadlines and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • You should possess proficient computer skills and an expertise in the use of software packages and applications, including the MS Office suite namely Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • A willingness to work flexibly and to adapt quickly to changing operational needs is important as you will occasionally be required to stay late.
  • To provide full administrative support to the Group Curriculum Director, Adult Education Strategy including coordinating responses to correspondence, liaising with professional advisers and external stakeholders, organising administration and planning processes, minuting meetings, dealing with internal and external enquiries at all levels, and arranging hospitality for internal and external meetings.
  • To provide full administrative support for highly confidential and sensitive matters (including disciplinary cases and grievances) as required.
  • To prepare documents, reports and presentations for internal and external purposes and meetings and to ensure that the College is presented in a professional manner at all times.
  • To provide full administrative support for the management development programmes.
  • To support the GCD Adult Education Strategy to promote and monitor the completion of the London Learner Survey and ensure that NCC meets the required target.
  • To provide course administration for courses at the Language Schools including attendance monitoring, course change requests and student change requests as required.
  • To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required at the request of the GCD Adult Education Strategy.
