What you will do in your working day
- Work 4 days a week at one of our divisional locations, 1 day studying
- Ideally you will already be living close one of our existing contracts
- Over the course of the 3.5 years, experience different job roles and be mentored by our senior managers.
- Deliver excellent customer service to our clients.
- Gain knowledge in support functions, such as; Finance, Health & Safety, Legal, HR, Procurement Sustainability and Project Management
- Carry out all your course work and project work set by Arden University
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of the waste to resources industry for business and industry clients
- Develop a sound business understanding of our business
- Develop an understanding of different roles within the company, within both operations and support service
- Receive additional divisional practical training and development
- Receive regular coaching on managerial techniques
- Quarterly reviews will be conducted to ensure you are on track and maintaining the progress required
The training you will be getting
- The qualification you will be studying is a Chartered Managment Degree Apprenticeship
- You will be employed 5 days a week, 4 within the working environment (Norwood Farm and across Kent & Essex on closed sites) and the remaining asa study day
- You will also receive all H&S training, mandatory training and site specific plant training
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Once the apprenticeship is completed, we would expect you to be placed or applying for relevant supervior / management vacancies with FCC Environment where continued training and development will be given.
