What you will do in your working day

Assisting in a wide range of plumbing repairs including;

  • leaks to pipework and taps internally & externally
  • renewals of broken items such as taps and radiators
  • assisting in bathroom installs and elements of kitchen renovations
  • re-sealing works to sanitary ware
  • shower repairs
  • sanitary ware renewal

The training you will be getting

The apprenticeship training is delivered through a combination of workplace learning and regular college attendance.

This training will teach you the knowledge, skills and behaviours set out in the Plumbing & Domestic Heating Technician L3 standard.

On completion the apprentice will receive In Plumbing & Domestic Heating (9189-05) qualification. Functional Skills in maths and English may also be required depending on current level.

You MUST be prepared to commit to your work and training for the duration of the apprenticeship. In some cases, you may be required to have a telephone interview with Yeovil College prior to your application being passed on. We are a growing property maintenance and repairs company working across Wiltshire, Somerset, Bath & Bristol working alongside a wide range of clients including Housing Associations, Letting Agents, Private landlords and the Private sector. We offer a range of services such as maintenance repairs including; Carpentry, Plumbing, Gas & Oil Heating, Electrical, Groundworks & fencing, Kitchen & Bathroom fitting and renovation works. We carry out a range of cyclical/servicing such as Gas & Oil Boiler servicing, electrical testing and smoke alarm testing.
