We are offering 2-year Advanced Apprenticeships in Plant Mechanics with training taking place 'on the job' and through block release.

What you will do in your working day

What will your role involve?

·         Service and maintenance tasks (commensurate with level of experience and training) under the direct supervision of an experienced mentor.

·         Attendance at college on a block release basis.

·         Completion of work-based training programme in accordance with college and company requirements

You will be provided with help through:

  • A dedicated mentor to help you throughout your career as an Apprentice
  • Regular progress reviews and feedback sessions

The training you will be getting

At the end of the 2 year Apprenticeship the Apprentice will obtain their Land Based Service Engineer L2 with an opportunity to progress onto the Land Based Service Technician L3.

The training at the college will be on block release (A week at a time) at Askham Bryan College in York.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Once qualified the Apprentice can progress into a Mobile Plant Engineer position.
