Gaining real-life experience in the workplace, training will also be provided, leading to a Level 6 Chartered Surveyor qualification.  Training will be delivered on a day release basis where you will have opportunity to network with other individuals from various organisations. We provide all apprentices with a dedicated mentor.

What you will do in your working day

  • Assist with thorough financial negotiations as required in order to secure client contracts
  • Work with the project delivery team to understand and assist with the formulation of a realistic budget for schemes in order to maximise revenue, profit and reputation
  • Become familiar with identifying, preparing, submitting and agreeing early warning notices and compensation events under NEC contract
  • Promote the brand and contribute to our Sustainability Culture and Core Values

  • By successfully completing this programme, participants will have met the core requirements for surveying in law, information management, finance, health and safety, sustainability, construction technology and consultancy, as well as two optional areas

  • The Apprentice Quantity Surveyor will progress once qualified into a Quantity Surveyor position
  • Further progression can lead to a career in Commercial Management
